GUYS GUYS GUYS!!! I have no idea if this was pointed out already or not, but-- Look familiar?! That giant clock thing behind Zelda is the same one we deciphered for the limited edition boxart!!!

Well, that makes sense! :) They used both models to develop it into one sword. I was just saying that it looks more like TP's model than OoT's, but it obviously has traits from the both of them. ^_^

I think it more closely resembles the TP Master Sword design. As you can see, the golden diamond seems to be more like a triangle. Also, the wing-shaped cross guard comes out of the big... circular thing. Also notice how the grip is the same color as the rest of the hilt. The wings...

I guess you could say it has been confirmed. At one point, Miyamoto (I think) said that the Skyward Sword eventually becomes the Master Sword. It sounded like a huge spoiler at the time, so maybe he didn't mean to say it. Still, this was back around E3 2010.

Hmm, I've known Nintendo to be pretty careful with symbols and other things that might point to a specific culture. For example, in Ocarina of Time, they changed the design on the Mirror Shield because it looked like a symbol from a religion. So I'm pretty sure that Nintendo knows by now. What...

Ohh, something new I noticed about the boxart! The North American version differs from the PAL version for some reason: I know that they scaled everything down so that they could fit the "Special Edition CD" down on the bottom, but why is that symbol missing?

...What exactly are you talking about? O_o In English, it's Nayru, Din, and Farore. In Japanese, there's a lot of different ways to spell them -- one way being Nehru, Din, and Furol. That is how we've translated them from the boxart.

"Nayru" appears as "Nehru," and "Wisdom" is spelled correctly. XD It's a little hard to see the "i." I have no idea what they mean by "rol," either. "Rol" is at the end of the word. The word is upside-down, so what we see on the left would actually be the end.

Yes... Unfortunately, *sigh* that doesn't help us. ;_; The Japanese word for "courage" is "yuuki," right? (I know nothing about Japanese, so I have to look these up.) So it can't be that, either... EDIT: Or maybe... Somehow, could that word be "Farol?" O_o
