    The Box Art...

Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice that similarity before... XD I don't think it's just because it's the North American version. From what I know, the limited edition boxart was available to Europe, Japan, and Australia also. The Japanese regular boxart also featured the same image of Link...

    The Box Art...

GUYS GUYS GUYS!!! I have no idea if this was pointed out already or not, but-- Look familiar?! That giant clock thing behind Zelda is the same one we deciphered for the limited edition boxart!!!

    The Box Art...

Well, that makes sense! :) They used both models to develop it into one sword. I was just saying that it looks more like TP's model than OoT's, but it obviously has traits from the both of them. ^_^

    The Box Art...

I think it more closely resembles the TP Master Sword design. As you can see, the golden diamond seems to be more like a triangle. Also, the wing-shaped cross guard comes out of the big... circular thing. Also notice how the grip is the same color as the rest of the hilt. The wings...

    The Box Art...

I guess you could say it has been confirmed. At one point, Miyamoto (I think) said that the Skyward Sword eventually becomes the Master Sword. It sounded like a huge spoiler at the time, so maybe he didn't mean to say it. Still, this was back around E3 2010.

    The Box Art...

Ohh, right... Can't believe I didn't think about it before. o_o And what Locke said made sense too. The Master Sword being on the front cover was to be expected since Skyward Sword deals with its creation. The first thing I noticed about it was that the golden diamond thing centered in its...

    The Box Art...

So... they intentionally left the symbol out? X_X Then again, I wouldn't see how they could have accidentally left it out... But I don't see why they would leave it out on purpose, either... Just that one symbol, too... :\
  8. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Hmm, I've known Nintendo to be pretty careful with symbols and other things that might point to a specific culture. For example, in Ocarina of Time, they changed the design on the Mirror Shield because it looked like a symbol from a religion. So I'm pretty sure that Nintendo knows by now. What...
  9. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

But... why wouldn't they have the full symbol? O_o
  10. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Ohh, something new I noticed about the boxart! The North American version differs from the PAL version for some reason: I know that they scaled everything down so that they could fit the "Special Edition CD" down on the bottom, but why is that symbol missing?
  11. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Oh, what a nice post. ^_^ Thanks for the refreshment on the info. :) So, in that case, would 12 dungeons still be a possibility?
  12. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Oh, true... I forgot about that. Hmm... Now I'm not sure. XD Although... ALttP had 12 dungeons. Would you call that a dense game? It wasn't packed with sidequests or anything, but... I felt like it had a lot of material. :) That's a nice idea; never thought about that! :D
  13. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

That means there would be 12 Sages... Along with 12 dungeons? But wait, there's always been six (seven including Zelda) Sages, so maybe not all of the dungeons have a Sage, sorta like in Ocarina of Time. Hehe... We should feel accomplished now. XD Thanks. :)
  14. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

    Well, yeah, but I was thinking that if I circled Phi's head and labeled it "Din's Pearl," that would look a little weird... XD PRESS ON. Because that's what we do. XD Although, I'd have to continue this tomorrow since I have to leave... -_-;
  15. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Haha, that's what I thought too when I first saw it. Anything circular and has designs on it makes me think of that clock. :p But after looking at it for a little bit, there doesn't seem much of a resemblance. Anyway, is this basically all the main things we've pointed out so far? (Excuse my...
  16. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Hmm... Quite honestly, the only resemblance I can see between the two is that they're both circular. :\ (Oh, and the dots.)
  17. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Ohh, okay, I didn't get what you meant there. ^_^; I do this with basically everything, so it's normal for me.
  18. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Din's Pearl is behind Phi's head. But, wait... You know that every Zelda game so far has a cover? So what exactly are you trying to say? XD Yes, and if anyone asks... We translated it here first, haha! XD
  19. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

...What exactly are you talking about? O_o In English, it's Nayru, Din, and Farore. In Japanese, there's a lot of different ways to spell them -- one way being Nehru, Din, and Furol. That is how we've translated them from the boxart.
  20. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

YES! OUR WORK WAS NOT IN VAIN! XD I guess we can finally stop wondering what "rol" is now. :)
  21. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

"Nayru" appears as "Nehru," and "Wisdom" is spelled correctly. XD It's a little hard to see the "i." I have no idea what they mean by "rol," either. "Rol" is at the end of the word. The word is upside-down, so what we see on the left would actually be the end.
  22. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Yes... Unfortunately, *sigh* that doesn't help us. ;_; The Japanese word for "courage" is "yuuki," right? (I know nothing about Japanese, so I have to look these up.) So it can't be that, either... EDIT: Or maybe... Somehow, could that word be "Farol?" O_o
  23. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Ahh, if you look at the 2nd and 3rd letters, they don't look anything like "ay" at all. XD EDIT: You know what, I can't think of any Zelda word that ends with "-rol." I'm just gonna assume that it's some Japanese spelling of "courage" or "Farore" that I'm not familiar with... (Although, the...
  24. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

ARGH! This is hard. XD I... can't think of anything. ;_; Maybe they just put that word in there?... That's actually what I got when I first translated it, too. But I just decided that since it already had all the clues leading to "Nayru" (Wisdom, Power and Din), it was obviously "Nayru." :)
  25. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Hmm... Sol? I doubt that's it, though...
  26. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

...That last letter should be an "e" then, right? But it's not. It looks more like an "L," just like zeldahuman pointed out. EDIT: Before the "L" looks like an "o"... And before that, it's either an "m" or a "u," the way I see it.
  27. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Can anyone translate part of the word to Link's left? You can BARELY see it. Plus, it's upside-down. X_X I was thinking that it was either "Farore" or "Courage," both of which end with an "e." But the last letter (which would be the one to the left if we're looking at it normally) doesn't...
  28. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

Wait, wait, sorry! XD I'm sure I saw Farore somewhere -- just not that one. I saw the last letter as an "e," and the one before that looked like an "r." But I'm completely sure about Nayru and Din, so Farore has to be on there somewhere. I'll go and re-translate the one to the right of Phi's...
  29. EternalNocturne

    The Box Art...

I translated the Hylian after I saw the boxart. XD The word to the left of Phi's head says "Nayru." The one to the right says "Farore." The one after Farore says "Din." :) Also, does anyone think that those markings on that outer circle resemble Twili markings? That's what I thought when I...
