What is the origin of the mysterious rudimentary Royal Crest found throughout the Zelda series?

It's only the case that Thyphlo ruins were not built by the Zonai. The others still retain likely connections with the Zonai, and the three labyrinths are, as far as I know, confirmed to be Zonai. With the ruins being built by ancient Hylians to honor the Zonai, it makes sense that they would...

What is the origin of the mysterious rudimentary Royal Crest found throughout the Zelda series?

While I don't see the Zonai connection here, I think that the best game theories come about when looking into things "too far," then taking it further. Lay your reasoning on me, and don't spare the rabbit trails.

Are The Zonai a Beneficial Addition to the Series?

I'm hoping that the symbol is replicated by the Zonai, just as the Sheikah after them. I'm hoping that Hylia, and the other three goddesses, were not Zonai, and implanting the third eye is not where the symbolism began, in universe. But, it is a possibility that they may be Zonai, at this point...

Are The Zonai a Beneficial Addition to the Series?

The games literally tell us, even shows us, that the Ancient Shiekah were connected to the Zonai. I absolutely love what we did get with the Twili, but it's only one game, and there's no connection to them in the world of Hyrule. We have to be told about the Twili's history. We can't see the...

Are The Zonai a Beneficial Addition to the Series?

I would say that the Zonai have the most depth we have seen in a group added to the series, upon their first game, so far. As far as the other introductions go, we may get an explanation that the people have always been around (or that they used to be another group), and we may or may not see...

    Who created the labyrinths?

I feel like many of the discussions about the dragons miss/side-step the existence of numerous dragon remains we can find throughout the game.

    Spoiler Farosh, Naydra, and Dinnral...Zonai!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I would prefer that to the ending we did get. I also appreciate the fact that Zelda is a big part of the Zelda series, and that the public really likes their happy endings. With a third game to fix Zelda, it would make everyone work for it, rather than having it handed to us. Insert the "Because...

    Spoiler Farosh, Naydra, and Dinnral...Zonai!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I agree with you on this one. I think there should have been a whole third game. End TotK with Zelda trapped as a dragon. Let us feel that sacrifice. Then, open the next game with a reveal that there just might be a way, which leads Link on a whole journey to bring Zelda back. There could even...

Are The Zonai a Beneficial Addition to the Series?

I've seen many people lament Ghost Rauru not sticking around to be a kind of companion, just hanging around different locations, like in the beginning, ready to give comment about his memories.

Are The Zonai a Beneficial Addition to the Series?

Just a typo. I'll go back and fix it. The Oocca never sat well, in the world, though. They are posed as builders of advanced technology, and prolific builders, yet they never seem to use that tech, and the structures they supposedly built are made for larger people than themselves. And, just...

Are The Zonai a Beneficial Addition to the Series?

I think the Zonai do add to the lore. More than that, I think the Zonai positively adds to lore that has been building for a while. Many games reference a mysterious sky people and a civilization that predates the history of the game in question. The creators have been playing with the idea for...

Yet Another TotK Timeline Placement Theory

I suppose the idea that Rauru's Hyrule is the nation that predates Skyward Sword isn't common enough to register, yet. As I see it, the creators already told us that the new games, BotW/TotK, are separated; by time. They specifically wanted us to fit the games in the timeline we saw most...

    The City in the Sky

I suppose that's where I feel my approach to the Zoni, and how I think they connect to previous games is different from some. I start by looking for as direct of comparisons as possible, and work out from there. I don't simply use the Zoni as a brand of caulking, designed to fill gaps of any...

Ocarina of Time Link and Zelda are siblings?!

To be fair, I personally thought the idea was dead when I started the thread, but posted it anyway, to get more perspectives, like this one, so I was not disappointed.

    Which Is Worse?

I also don't have an issue with either. Neither do I think the Downfall Timeline is a throw away junk drawer for the older games. I think there important lore implications about the three timelines, and how they compare.
