I'm undecided on where to go so far. I just finished the Zora's domain area (and dungeon) but now, I just kind of explore randomly taking on any shrine I can find. Not sure which 'main' area I want to do next.
Hard for me to conclude at this point but it ranks up there. I'm not very far in (20 or so shrines in, 27 korok seeds...). I spend more time dilly-dallying around the landscape (tower & shrine hunting) than advancing the plot during a few hours some nights when I have time to play but it sure...
Nintendo is not known for being cross-platform friendly. As Fi from SS would say, "There's a 95% chance you would have to pay for the DLC content twice for 2 different consoles".
My favorite secondary character would be Midna. She was sassy and not overly bearing like Fi in SS. She made the game fun in the more dreary parts of TP.
My least favorite would be Ghirahim in SS. He was on overly pompous d****bag! So annoying!
Can't put the BotW into this context yet still since I'm not very far in. Looking back I would say Twilight Princess is my favorite. Others may disagree, but IMO, it did everything right. It was like OoT and more and that's not a bad thing. My least favorite was Zelda II Adventure of Link...
Theoretically if the Switch does well (as it probably will since they're still impossible to find), they could easily churn out a new Zelda adventure in a few years like they did with Majora's Mask since OoT did take several years to develop as well. I'm not very far in BotW but the next one...
I got mine at Gamestop as well. No preorder bonuses but I did manage to pick up a streetpass Mii from the cute girl behind the counter and my soundtrack CD from registering my game when I got home.
You'll have to call Nintendo's support line which should be on the website. A lot of people apparently have this problem so you may have to wait awhile to get through. Fortunately, I did get the pop up screen, registered and got my email confirmation.
I never finished it on the N64 so I did download it 2 years ago on the Wii and completed it then. It is tough but still a very worthy addition to the Zelda series. Sure I wouldn't mind seeing a 3DS version but I'd rather see an all-new Zelda on the 3DS.
I think it is available in Europe; at least in the UK anyway. One of my Animal Crossing group friends from there was saying that the Zelda game was currently available but not the E3 3D videos.
If you've never played it before, then absolutely it's worth it! I on the other hand have already played it several times through in both the original gameboy and gameboy color versions. Thankfully they have uploaded the GBC version which includes an extra dungeon not to mention a color display.
I did back on the N64 twice. However with the GC version I could not as I had a hard time with the GC controller on the archery minigame on horseback. I wonder how effective the 3DS controls will be for those shooting mini-games.
I also plan to buy the Red Dead Redemption:Undead Nightmare expansion once the Sony PSN store is back up online but I'm not sure if that counts or not. :P
