First, there's SMS. My read on him is that he is definitely a more cautious player. The efficient-awareness mentality of the town in Xenoblade, at least in my eyes, seems to have influenced his play style, one I can respect; however, I feel a few things make me raise an eyebrow or two. First, I found his early attempt to rally the disorganization of the town toward a majority lynch to be somewhat rash in perhaps an effort to establish himself as a pro-town player early on. Of course, his view is not without merit, and I agree with it. Then, Sadia makes a good point:
Looking back, SMS had voted me for not posting, tagged me as well. But then he unvotes. Why? Is it because Viral called him out for it, and he got nervous? And now he's voting Shroom for the exact same reason. How interesting.
Despite establishing himself as pro-town, he reels back from Viral's pressure, and changes his vote. I'm a bit dubious as to his alignment as a result, although his vote for Shroom still aligned with his previous mode of 'lynching an inactive.' This observation also leads me to a wildcard in SMS's case: he followed through with his vote on Shroom, and from what I recall, it was rather early on the wagon.
I didn't mean we should majority lynch early, I was just suggesting we get organized to prevent a no lynch which is were we were almost heading with all the random voting. Do you disagree that it isn't a good ideology to remind early?
I want to address this post: I don't think any town-supporting player would disagree with such ramifications. In previous trends on ZD, the seriousness usually took some time to develop depending on how long the RVS stage lingered. I suppose the main reason I myself grew suspicious of your encouragement is because it seemed to come of as hurried as to establish town credit quickly. Other than that, SMS, I think you have good intentions for the town, but I remain dubious as to how sincere it is. Thus, I don't quite have the fullest confidence to deem you scum just yet. It is something I need to give plenty of thought.
