Brawls heights are messed up for everyone in all series. It's obvious they made Ganondorf shorter for Brawl because he would be too tall for the stages if link only came up to his waist. And as for Ghirahim someone has already made the effort to put the Skyward Sword models next to each other already, link is quite a bit shorter than Impa and ghirahimEven though I'm the one providing evidence to Link shortness, I also believe it's a matter of retcon. After all, Ganondorf 7'7/230 cm in Hyrule Historia is a concept data, it can be argued they decided to enhance his height afterwards. If we compare TP, SS and BotW Links with Master Sword in their backs, they're proportional. And in BotW the 8 feet Gerudo comparison points to Link being indeed 5'7. My heart still says 5'3 makes more sense, but I'm also fine with 1.7 m.
I don't know who did this, but it's based on Smash Bros. Brawl models. It's not canon but we may have an idea of what Twilight Princess Link was supposed to look in size.

Ganondorf: 610 pixels = 230 cm
1 pixel = 0.38 cm
Impa: 487 pixels = 184 cm
Tingle: 354 pixels = 134 cm
Sheik: 460 pixels = 173 cm
Zelda: 462 pixels = 174 cm
Child Link: 349 pixels = 132 cm
Link: 451 pixels = 170 cm
Ghirahim: 489 pixels = 184 cm
Toon Link: 331 pixels = 125 cm
You make the imperial conversion, I've written enough for now.

By the way, even though the remake scales link to 1.7 m, the original Ocarina of Time depicts a 5'3 tall Link.

(Picture updated) Talking about growth spurt... If TP Link is 1.42 m, the Hero's Shade w/o helmet is about 6'7 or 2 m tall. He grew 30 cm through his adulthood. Perhaps the tallest hylian.I think scenario one is more likely. Every time I get Adult Link standing next to the diving meter, his head is always lining up with the 1.7m line. Which makes him 5'7. Which means, if he's 4'1 as a child, then he grew 18 inches or 1.6ft, so nearly 2ft in the span of 7 years. That's one hell of a growth spurt.
Dude theres a bit on the helmet so it dont count...Talking about growth spurt... If TP Link is 1.42 m, the Hero's Shade w/o helmet is about 6'7 or 2 m tall. He grew 30 cm through his adulthood. Perhaps the tallest hylian.

Thats what I thought. No point only growing a couple of feet if you are gonna go beast mode! Though I wouldn't count the horns in the height personally.Oh, I almost forgot...

Link: 214 pixels = 160 cm or 5'3
1 pixel = 0.75
Beast Ganon: 647 pixels = 484 cm or 15'11
He towers Demise after all.
Indeed, I've just counted horns as a matter of silhouette.Thats what I thought. No point only growing a couple of feet if you are gonna go beast mode! Though I wouldn't count the horns in the height personally.
Oh, I almost forgot...

Technically 1 pixel is 0.0264583333 cm. However I just use pixel as a way of comparison. Here's a better question to ponder now. How do we know how many pixels each character is respectively comprised of? Furthermore, how can we approximate or ascertain the value of one pixel to a unit of measurement such as a centimetre?

I pick a screenshot, measure how many pixel the character is, apply the height value to it and compare to some other character at the same shot.
