The Poe Collector was alive at the time when [[Link]] was a child, however, when he became a ghost, it is unspecified how he died. Link encounters him as an adult, and sees him as a Poe Collector, as the name suggests. He collects poes in a cage that are angry spirits that hates life. After [[Ganon|Ganondorf]] tormented [[Castle Town]], the Poe Collector thought that it was a perfect time to start a shop there, which he calls the [[Ghost Shop]]. If Link brings him a [[Big Poe]] that is found outside in [[Hyrule Field]], he will put 100 points on his card and grant him with 50 [[Rupee]]s.
