What's happening forum? I hope you guys are enjoying this morning! As for me, I'm so tired from all the updates that I've researched on that I haven't slept in days! :xd:

Pokemon Tretta Lab:

There appears to be new utility for the Nintendo 3DS Pokemon games X and Y. This feature is currently known as Tretta Lab. This feature/game just recently arrived in the Japanese market this past weekend. This will have two separate ports, one for the Nintendo 3DS and other for the Nintendo 3DS XL. The main purpose for this utility is to assist in the cataloging of the Pokemon from the arcade game, Pokemon Tretta. It also comes with a base for the Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL to stand on and also also a scanner that is attached on the top of the 3DS system. Using the scanner will allow a player to put up to two Tretta pucks at the same time for the scanning. The game itself is in fact digital software, downloaded through a QR scan and also comes with the scanner and tray, and also comes with a few pucks. The game has three modes to play around with. The first one is the Tretta Analyzer. This mode shows the player the Pokemon from the Tretta puck that was scanned in, its type and statistics. The second more is the Type Checker. This mode allows the player to be able to compare two Pokemon and observe two Pokemon and see if the type combination matches up. The finl mode is Auto Battle where one can scan in two Tretta pucks and it will automatically show the two duke it out via battle. Lastly, the game will come with three special unique Tretta Pucks, Rookie promos that will feature Mewtwo, Lucario, and Eevee. In addition, the first print run contains yet another special puck that will bel featuring Pichu.

The recently released utility, Pokémon Tretta Lab for Nintendo 3DS has brought out its first downloadable update. This update has included further data on various Promotional Tretta in order for them to be scanned at a later point. This download can be initiated when you boot up the game, or automatically via SpotPass. -Serebii.net

Game Modes:

With this game out, there are 4 gameplay modes that a player can play around with and fully utilize the game. Most of these games just mostly focus on observing the stats/statistics of a player's Tretta Pokemon for gameplay during the arcade. The following modes are as follows:

Tretta Analyzer:

Details:
The Tretta Analyser allows for you to scan in one of your Tretta at any time. In doing so, you have the ability to scroll between several screens. These screens give you the type of the Pokémon in the first screen, as well as the type of Tretta it is (Rookie Tretta, One Star etc.).
On the second screen, you get a rundown of the Pokémon's stats: Energy, HP, Attack, Defense and Speed.
On the third screen it gives you details on your Pokémon's moves, specifying their type
On the fourth, it lets you know what types your Pokémon is strong against, and which ones it is weak to

Using the bottom screen, you have the ability to switch to get a view of your Tretta puck specifically, and you can rotate it around. - Serebii.net

Type Checker:

Details:
The Type Checker is the second feature within Pokémon Tretta Lab. In it, you have the ability to scan in one or more of your Tretta and see if the moves will work on them based solely upon type. This is a good way to plan a potential future battle. Within this feature, you have the ability to control who faces who, pick their specific attack that is to used and, if necessary, select a form change for the Pokémon.

In addition to using your own Tretta, the Type Checker has got a catalogue of currently available Tretta sets and allows you to pick one of up to 12 Tretta within each set. This also includes promotional Tretta. - Serebii.net

Old Battle:

Details:
This feature has you scan in two of your Pokémon Tretta pucks and watch as a battle. This is a fairly limited feature and you can set the amount of wins each side has had before beginning the battle. Then, once you have both Tretta scanned in, you press OK and watch as the battle unfolds.

The battles in this game are a bit different to the ones in the arcade game, and are quite literally just a hit and damage feature. You have no control over it. - Serebii.net

Challenge Battle:

Details:
The Challenge Battle is the more game-like part of Pokémon Tretta Lab and has you scan in one of your Tretta pucks and select a stage in which to battle. There are four different categories, each based upon the stars on the Tretta. This indicates the strength of the Pokémon and brings in opponents with the strength matching that. You start off with only the 1 star and 2 star difficulty, but then unlock 3 Star and 4 Star as you proceed.

Each battle is a best two of three battles, and you have the ability to change the Pokémon you use before you start the battle.. When you end it, you get a High Score based upon the stage, a bonus for remaining Hit Points and a bonus for your Pokémon's Energy used. In addition to that, your percentage chance of a Special Challenge increases. These battles face you off against very strong and rare Pokémon. To battle through Challenge Battle, it is recommended that you have your own powerful Tretta. - Serebii.net

Tretta Collecton:

The Pokémon Tretta Lab Main System utility has got various features which rely upon the data of the Pokémon Tretta pucks. Within the Type Checker, there is a list of all the Pokémon Tretta in each of the sets. However, the game initially only gives you a small list of multiple ones within each set. Each set is separated from the other to allow for easy scrolling.

As you scan various Tretta pucks, they will get added to the Tretta List. You can see which ones you own through a blue light to the side of them.

More sets and promos get added via the SpotPass Downloads. - Serebii.net

Tretta Listing:

The Pokémon Tretta Lab Main System utility has got various features which rely upon the data of the Pokémon Tretta pucks. As new sets are released every 2 to 3 months, the game has to be updated in order to be able to both read the pucks, and provide information about them.

In the Type Checker, you have the ability to check the details and bring up dozens of Tretta which you may not have yet obtained or scanned. Also, in Challenge Battle, you face off against various Pokémon from these various sets in order to win.

To opt into the SpotPass notifications, there is an option in the main menu for you to opt in or out of it. Should you opt in, that's all you need to do. When the new data is sent, you will receive a blue SpotPass notification onto the game's icon on the home screen. - Serebii.net

As of now, the Initial Download stats that Sets 1-6 and various Promo Tretta have already been released since April 10th 2013. This could be a typo since the utility came out on August 10th 2013, so nothing drastic.

So what are your thoughts of the Tretta Lab? Would you like to see it arrive on other markets? Would you like to use this utility to help you out for Gen 6? Please leave your comments below and discuss about the Tretta Lab and the downloads that will take place in the future, and as always thanks for reading.
