Does anybody know anything about the story of Oath to Riruto, a 1994-1997 Japanse mangaa? From what I know, the main character is Riruto and his friend Kalin (Colin?) gets kidnapped by Ganon. Ganon has four henchmen: Nabat, Haggis, Glasgow and Hoody. There is a Zelda, but she's unimportant and a Link who trains Riruto. What Link is this? Is this a Zelda 1 parody, or ALTTP parody? Or was it supposed to be a separate canon?
The Kalin kidnapping sounds exactly like the opening to TP. But other than that, I don't know much about the story. If anyone knows anything, I'd love to know, I'm trying to place it on my Non-Canon Content linear timeline.
