I tried out that pomodoro technique when I was drawing today and like, it's so good? I kept thinking the breaks were too short but then I remembered I don't usually take breaks when I draw, I just sit there and draw for like, 4+ hours straight XD. I didn't even realize that was hyperfixating.
What time signature is this song in? I was tapping my foot to it at work today, noticed I was going in intervals of 3 instead of 4, so my guess was 3/4. I asked my brother who actually plays drums, and he said 6/8. I did some looking online and saw a mix of both those things, so I figured I'd ask you.
I'll be offline until I grab a copy and play Tears of the Kingdom. Mostly to avoid spoilers, so if I'm inactive for a while, that's why. Love you all, and have a great day!
The reason you get confusion, is because both 3/4 and 6/8 contain the same amount of notes, and that’s all some people focus on.
But as you can feel, it's different, and this is the difference between simple and compound meters.
It's a slow 6/8. Lars' snare hit falls on beat 2 of the groove, and the first strong beat is his bass drum.
So it's counted:
1-trip-let 2 trip-let.
