ZVS #5: Midna & Fi

Our 5th matchup in ZVS Companion Edition marches on with Midna facing off against Fi. Both of these side characters are critical to their respective games. Fi as the protector of the Master Sword and Midna, the literal Twilight Princess. Both face off in today’s matchup. Who advances? You decide!
Midna
Midna is your partner, friend, and the Princess of the Twilight Realm who is cursed and banished when Zant gains power thanks to help from Ganondorf. She’s originally an Imp in appearance when helping Link, but later reveals herself in her true, more human-like form. She forms a close bond with Link, as she first uses him for her own needs and he uses her for his, before they find common ground and begin to do things with each other in mind.
Fi
She is the Master Sword, for all intents and purposes. She is robotic in nature and exists purely to help Link. That is her sole purpose of existence. Keeping track of some interesting fighting statistics, at one point in the game she even exhibits a bit of her own personality, going so far as to try and interact with fellow robotic beings. She ultimately “sacrifices” herself, and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hyrule.
