ZeldaSpeedRuns Hosts Their Annual Zelda Speedrunning Marathon

ZeldaSpeedRuns, the community behind the largest collection of Zelda speedrunning data, are holding their annual speedrunning marathon this weekend! This year’s even features a run from every major entry in the series, as well as spin-offs, including Freshly-Picked: Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland and A Link to the Past randomizer race.

Both originals and remakes will feature, with The Wind Waker playing host to an exciting community Din’s Pearl race, featuring runners from all different gaming backgrounds, and 4 way Twilight Princess HD and Majora’s Mask 3D runs taking place too. The marathon ends with a Majora’s Mask 100% run by FullGrownGaming, who just broke the category’s world record yesterday.

This year, the community are raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and are holding multiple bid wars throughout the event, such as an Ocarina of Time 3D Glitch Exhibition and activating Master Mode in the Breath of the Wild Master Sword and Dungeons run.
