Zelda Warfare — The Art of Arbiter’s Grounds
Posted on December 02 2020 by Emi Curtis
Mases and Gooey return in another episode of Twilight Princess Zelda Warfare this week. After a trek through Gerudo Desert last episode, the two find themselves at the Arbiter’s Grounds for a speedrun showdown. Mases once again lost the advantage to Gooey last time with his failed daytime approach, ever widening his trail to 3 points behind. This time has the two going after what they refer to as “The Big Six” chests in the Arbiter’s Grounds, culminating in a faceoff with Stallord, the boss of the dungeon. Can Mases finally turn things around or will Gooey cement an insurmountable lead? This match is a blast with a couple twists along the way, so make sure to check it out above.
It’s mentioned briefly in the video, but Arbiter’s Grounds actually scored fourth in our Ranking of the Best Dungeons in Zelda, a fact Mases and Gooey express an amusing dissent with. I myself actually really love this dungeon, especially those great moments with the Spinner towards the end. Mases and Gooey take the opportunity to crack a couple Tony Hawk: Pro Skater jokes in the moment, which actually brought me back to making similar jokes when I first played Twilight Princess myself.
What are your thoughts on this week’s challenge? Do you enjoy the Arbiter’s Grounds or are you with Mases and Gooey on it? Let us know in the comments below, and make sure to subscribe to the Zelda Dungeon YouTube channel for more Zelda Warfare!
