Zelda Versus: Best Soundtrack Tournament — Round 2 — Week One Recap
Posted on March 09 2018 by Rod Lloyd
Hey there, Zelda fans. Our best soundtrack has really been heating up. We’ve seen several games advance from Round 1, we’ve a few surprising upsets, and we’ve seen giants go head-to-head in fierce competition. With so much action going on, let’s get you up to speed on the tournament so far.
A handful of games that earned a bye in Round 1 finally got their time in the spotlight this week, as Four Swords Adventures, A Link to the Past, and Oracle of Ages all took on winners from the prior round. These bouts look a bit one-sided at the moment, but anything can happen as more votes are cast.
The week concluded with our main event, the most heated contest we’ve seen in the tournament so far. That’s right, Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword squared off yesterday, trading the voting majority for several hours. Ocarina pulled ahead slightly today, but the gap is small and Skyward Sword‘s devotees are strong and numerous. That’s going to be a poll you’ll want to bookmark.
Here are the Round 2 polls so far, with the soundtrack currently winning each poll in bold:
