Our best soundtrack tournament continues with two new titles. As Link’s Awakening and A Link to the Past duke it out in yesterday’s poll, A Link Between Worlds and Ocarina of Time step into the fray.

A Link Between Worlds Vs. Ocarina of Time

A Link Between Worlds has boasted quite a lot of support in the tournament’s opening rounds. The game’s orchestral sound and excellent quality earned it healthy victories over both Spirit Tracks and Oracle of Ages, and we could easily see a repeat performance in this Quarter-Finals bout.

Hylian Terrier: “A Link Between Worlds. I love the remixes in the game! Some of the tracks sound almost orchestrated. The composer did a good job making the old stuff sound great and with new stuff like Lorule Castle and Hilda’s Theme.”

Ocarina of Time is proving to be a strong contender in the tournament so far. Taking down Skyward Sword, another fan favorite, last round, this Nintendo 64 classic has a lot of momentum coming into this match-up. We’ll see if the timeless tunes of Ocarina can overcome those of its competitor.

JessterK: “OOT takes it. There are just so many memorable tracks that have continually remained in my head (and heart) for years and will likely continue to do so, with so much variety…”

So, it’s time to decide which game had the better soundtrack: A Link Between Worlds or Ocarina of Time
