If you’re going to E3 this year and looking forward to playing some new Nintendo games, there won’t be many available. As detailed in Nintendo’s fiscal year press release, Zelda U will be Nintendo’s only playable game at E3 2016. Here’s what was said:

E3: Nintendo changes its approach to the show every year. This June, Nintendo will focus its attentions on the upcoming game in The Legend of Zelda series. The Wii U version of the game will be playable for the first time on the E3 show floor, and it will be the only playable game Nintendo presents at the show, in order to provide attendees a complete immersion. Additional information about Nintendo’s E3 plans will be announced in the future.

Now, this isn’t a bad thing. I mean, people finally get to play Zelda U. It just would have been nice to see more playable content. This news comes alongside the announcement that Zelda U will be Nintendo’s main focus at E3 2016.
