Hot on the trail of their freshman album, Shadow and Steel, Zelda tribute metal band Master Sword is ready to begin recording their newest album, The Final Door. They can’t do it alone, however. In order to help make their next album a reality, the band has launched a new Kickstarter campaign

The Kickstarter has a goal of $16,000, and the band has already raised almost $6,000 (at the time of writing) with just 84 backers. There are a variety of rewards for those who donate, ranging from a digital copy of the album to a custom cover made just for the donor. Some of the physical items, like the Early Bird Physical Albums and Exclusive T-shirts, are in limited supply, so those wishing for that would do well to make haste with their donations. All rewarded items are expected to be delivered in December 2019.

The album will include songs inspired by “Palace” from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and “Ballad of the Goddess” from Skyward Sword, as well as many more. Master Sword says that The Final Door will be “more energetic, heavy, and aggressive” than their previous album.

Those wishing to donate have until Friday, August 9 to do so.
