Zelda-Themed Joy-Con To Be Released This Summer

A set of Zelda-themed Joy-Con will be released this summer as part of the 35th anniversary celebration of The Legend of Zelda, coinciding with the July 16th release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. The left Joy-Con will feature the red bird from the legendary Hylian Shield, set against a sky blue; the right Joy-Con will feature the symbol engraved upon the Master Sword. The pairing correlates nicely with the improved motion controls that will be featured in Skyward Sword HD.

While the game is available now for pre-order, the specially designed Zelda-themed Joy-Con will be available at local retailers upon the day of the game’s release, July 16.
