Monster Hunter TriIn the latest installment of Iwata Aska, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata sat down with the development team of the upcoming Nintendo Wii title Monster Hunter Tri. They discussed the graphics of Monster Hunter Tri and how it was made a top priority when developing the game. However, Iwata made a hint to the Legend of Zelda in the interview and the quote can be read below.

“I can tell Nintendo’s staff has really been galvanized by you. I can tell they feel like you did what they hadn’t yet. Looking at the graphics objectively, I feel like the game’s visuals are one of the representative examples of what can ultimately be done with Wii. I think it has placed the Zelda team under a considerable amount of pressure.”

It sure sounds like a good thing that the Zelda team is under pressure in order to match the graphical output of Monster Hunter Tri. Monster Hunter Tri releases later this month on April 20th, so we’ll all be able to get our hands on it and see exactly what all the fuss is over its graphical abilities.
