Zelda Short Film, ‘Escape’, Getting a Feature Length Version

There have been many attempts at making film out of our beloved game franchises—many terrible, and Zelda is no exception. However, last year we got a treat. While it may not have been an outright Zelda film, Escape captured something essential to the Zelda franchise that makes it so special: escapism, fittingly enough. It spread across the internet pretty quickly, but there was definitely room for more exploration—and director Kennedy Baruch wants to do just that. He recently announced on his YouTube channel that a feature-length version called Princess in Another Castle is being made. The plans are ambitious: better quality, better character development, and more games.
