Zelda Manga Artist Shares New Drawings, Violet Link Responds to Tri Force Heroes

Akira Himekawa is the team of two female artists responsible for the official The Legend of Zelda manga series. The duo has been known to release special drawings to their official Facebook page, and it seems the upcoming release of Tri Force Heroes has sparked their inspiration. Akira Himekawa recently shared a new drawing of Violet Link and Shadow Link from their Four Swords adaptation, as well as a neat drawing of Sir Raven from their Oracle of Ages adaptation.
The colored sketch of Violet Link (nicknamed Vio) and Shadow Link is as adorable as one would expect. A description under the drawing reads:
“Vio and Shadow from The Legend of Zelda Four Swords. Vio watching the Tri Force Heroes. But Shadow said to Vio “let’s play with me”…..Himekawa-san drew it.”
As someone who was disappointed to see Violet Link get forgotten in Tri Force Heroes, I think this drawing a hilarious response to the game. And who knows? Maybe we’ll be getting a manga adaptation of Tri Force Heroes some day, with Vio making a comeback.
Also shared recently on Akira Himekawa’s Facebook page was a great sketch of Sir Raven, Link’s ancestor from the Oracle of Ages manga. Fans of the character and manga are sure to get excited when seeing this drawing.
What do you think of the drawings? Are you disappointed Violet Link isn’t in Tri Force Heroes? Share your thoughts in the comments!
