The upcoming game, Fleish and Cherry in Crazy Hotel, is an adventure game set in the style of a ’30s cartoon. These ’30s cartoons, like Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop, and Popeye were some of the cartoons that started the Golden Age of American Animation, and this new game sets to recreate the experience but in an interactive way. A few days ago, the creators uploaded examples of different video games in that style, and Zelda was one of them. Personally, I’m a huge fan of old cartoons, their art styles, and their quirky nature, so seeing my favorite games in this style is fantastic to me. I’d love to see a Zelda game that looked like this, though at that point it probably wouldn’t be very much like Zelda at all.

This, of course, was so Red Little House Studios could promote their upcoming game, Fleish and Cherry in Crazy Hotel, a little bit. Their Indiegogo campaign didn’t go so well, but their Steam Greenlight page is still going where they have a working alpha available. You can also check out their website for some more information about what they’re doing, and see their deviantART gallery for more games drawn in this style.
