Zelda Fanart Spotlight – IMPA

Today’s Zelda Fanart Spotlight is that of Rainemaster‘s artwork titled “IMPA”.

This artwork shows Impa from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword using her Sheikah magic to fend off some unknown enemy that’s attacking her. The artist gave the artwork a watercolor look to it in order for it to match the environment of the game that this incarnation of Impa is from. Also on the array that Impa creates one can see distinct symbols from the Zelda series; examples of those symbols would be the symbol for the Shiekah, the Sages, the Kokiri, the Gorons, the Zoras and most importantly, the Triforce. The highlights that are used on Impa to show the glow coming from the array make her appear as if she’s glowing herself and it brings out the feathers attached to her belt and the golden marks on her clothing.
