Zelda Dungeon’s YouTube Team Discusses the Eldin and Faron Regions in Echoes of Wisdom

The Zelda Dungeon YouTube team is back with another Echoes of Wisdom video! In the latest episode of Echo Chamber, Gooey, McKenna, and Corey discuss the Eldin and Faron regions. After completing Hyrule Castle, the player can complete the Eldin, Faron, and Hebra main quests in the order of their choice. In the next video, Gooey, McKenna, and Corey plan to discuss the Hebra region and the conclusion of the game.
The first thing that the YouTube team discusses is the order in which they completed the dungeons in the Eldin, Faron, and Hebra regions. Gooey, McKenna and Corey all completed Eldin Temple first, but the crew’s routes diverged from there. The crew praises the return of the Gorons, especially the new chief Darston. While the crew enjoyed the Goron and Eldin region main quest, they have mixed feeling on Eldin Temple. Corey did not feel that Eldin Temple was as creative as previous dungeons, and he points out that the dungeon relies a lot on navigational challenges. One major highlight of the Eldin Temple is the return of Volvagia; the red dragon has one of the more elaborate and sprawling boss fights in Echoes of Wisdom.
Discussing the Faron region, the crew were thrilled with the return of Deku Scrubs after more than six years of Koroks. The crew considers the Faron Temple one of the best dungeons in Echoes of Wisdom. The temple has numerous entrances and exits, which makes navigating the dungeon an interesting challenge. In Faron Temple, the player has to pay more attention to the map and be more conscious of the room layout compared to other dungeons in Echoes of Wisdom. The dungeon also takes full advantage of its status as a late game dungeon by including puzzles based on a variety of elemental themes including fire, electricity, and water.
