The Holiday Season is officially upon us! And, as the guy who wears a Santa hat in his staff photo all year around, I couldn’t be more excited!

It’s that time of year when peoples from across the globe come together to celebrate with loved ones, enjoy perhaps a few days off, and, of course, indulge in the spirit of generosity. And though certain circumstances will make this year’s festivities look a little different from what we’re all used to, the spirits of gift giving, good tidings, and cheer are still alive and well.

That’s why your pals at Zelda Dungeon have put together this massive Holiday Gift Guide, which is full of excellent goodies for that special Zelda fan in your life!

Highlighting everything from books to music albums, from officially licensed merchandise to stellar fan creations, this guide has got you covered for all your rupee-spending needs. Members of our writing staff have even stepped in to share their personal thoughts and impressions of some of the guide’s biggest items. We threw in a few smaller items too, so you’ll have plenty of treasures to fill your stockings with!

So, without further ado, here’s Zelda Dungeon’s 2020 Holiday Gift Guide!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion Hero’s Edition

Link(s): Amazon, Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble
Price: $59.99-$99.99 USD

Breath of the Wild is one of my favorite games in the entire Zelda series, so when a collector’s edition of the art book The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion was announced, I had to have it. Creating a Champion collects official illustrations, design artwork, developer interviews, and more, giving readers an in-depth look into the creation of Breath of the Wild and its world.

“The Hero’s Edition is beautifully bound in Champion blue, with a matching sleeve that hides away a replica Spirit Orb. The set also includes a replica map of Hyrule and a replica of the photograph that hangs in Link’s home in Hateno Village. This collector’s book is a must have for those who love Zelda and Breath of the Wild. It will look fantastic on any shelf in your home!”

“I’ve tested out several meals with my family serving as test subjects, and each one has been a hit. From our Tough Meat Stuffed Pumpkin at the start of fall, to the Monster Cake (which we did as cupcakes), to the Monster Soup that we prepared for Halloween, to some of the drinks we’re planning to make for New Year’s, this book never ceases to delight. You can even take it a step further with their apron, conversion chart poster, stickers, and other goodies that are still being planned and released. This cookbook is the essential dungeon item to that food-lover boss in your family! #CookLikeAChampion”

Watch the trailer here!

Ocarina of Time is the game that changed my life, and Koji Kondo’s evocative score is a huge reason why I fell in love with the Zelda series. Hero of Time, originally funded on Kickstarter by a mammoth group of 1000 backers, is a fully orchestrated interpretation of the story of Ocarina of Time. The album consists of 21 riveting tracks, which include amazing versions of some of the game’s best songs like “Sheik’s Theme” and “Gerudo Valley”. Many of the arrangements splice together key songs like the temple themes and their respective Ocarina songs; this creates many wonderful tracks that flow smoothly from moment to moment.

Hero of Time is a must-buy for any fan of high-quality Zelda music, and at $14 dollars, it is a relatively low cost gift. In short, this is an immense tribute to one of the most influential soundtracks ever crafted. Listen with your ears, feel with your heart!”

Instruction Manual Booklets for Breath of the Wild and Link’s Awakening by MBPUK

Link(s): Etsy
Price: $14.10 for Breath of the Wild, $16.92 USD for Link’s Awakening

“After writing this story about the Breath of the Wild and Link’s Awakening instruction manuals, I decided to order them for myself; I’m so glad I did. As a lifelong Zelda fan and a gamer since the original Nintendo Entertainment System, these hand-drawn instruction manuals made me feel like I was ten years old again.

“In an era where profit is prioritized above all else, video game companies no longer release instruction booklets with their games. However, Etsy artist Rowan Fox-Noble dedicates an enormous amount of energy and thoughtfulness to the design of each game’s booklet, and it shows. From the classic inclusion of story narrative to player controls, these game manuals have it all and will definitely make the retro gamer in your life smile with nostalgia.”

If you’re in the UK, or don’t mind a few extra steps, I’d suggest snagging this while you can.
