Zelda Cosplayer is Proposed to at Fan Expo in Canada

One of the sweetest ways you can surprise your significant other is by proposing to them when they least expect it. That’s what J.R. Gallarza did to surprise his now fiancée, Holly Wolf, at Fan Expo amongst hundreds of people. In addition to the proposal, Holly was attending the event cosplaying as Princess Zelda from Breath of the Wild, so J.R. went the extra mile and had a bouquet of blue flowers ready for when he popped the question. Though the flowers were blue roses and not exactly like the Silent Princess, the bouquet certainly added a nice touch to his plan.

With the help of both his family and Holly’s family, J.R. showed up at Fan Expo, to a very confused Holly, as he gifted her the blue roses. After getting down on one knee and pulling out the ring — which was in a treasure chest — and some very sweet words, Holly said yes! The crowd applauded for the newly-engaged couple as they kissed lovingly, with Holly still shocked and speechless at her fiancé’s plan of action.
