While Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity created its share of controversy, particularly regarding the way in which it was marketed, most Zelda fans agree that the game told a riveting story backed by an outstanding original soundtrack. Unlike Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, which featured driving electronic rock, Age of Calamity featured a moving original score performed by an orchestra.

Now thanks to Ben Emberley, a British composer and conductor, Zelda fans can re-experience the epic final battle with Calamity Ganon as they listen to Emberley’s arrangement of the original song written by Kumi Tanioka. As Emberley explains, “This is an arrangement for full Orchestra and Chorus of the climactic “Decisive Battle Against Calamity Ganon” from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.” Emberley effectively captures the moment by overlaying the music to in-game footage of the conflict.

Emberley has been playing video games since 1991 and loves playing both The Legend of Zelda series and the Super Mario Bros. franchise. For more of his musical arrangements, click here.
