Will Tingle Make An Appearance In Super Mario Maker?

Yesterday, an image surfaced on the internet that shows Tingle in a Super Mario Maker 8-bit level. When the image first appeared many speculated that it was just a rumor. The upcoming title will support over 50 amiibo which will allow the player to use the various characters, such as Link within any of the 8-bit Super Mario Bros. themed levels within the game. As their has currently been no Tingle amiibo announced, this lead to the speculation that the image could have been a fake. Now, the original Miiverse post from the Super Mario Maker Media Community that was the source of the image has been located, giving the impression that the Tingle costume will be available in the game. Currently there is no additional information on how or when the costume will be made available, but we will update you as more information surfaces.
