Zant Mask is an enemy found in the Palace of Twilight in Twilight Princess.[1] They are basically an enlarged head resembling of Zant's armored mask that guard their master by shooting small purple orbs of twilight energy at Link.[2][3] He can either use his shield to deflect the energy balls and send it back into the Zant Mask,[4] causing it to be stunned,[5] or he can dodge these, run up to it, and slash away with his sword, taking three hits to defeat with the Master Sword.[6] Once Link has combined the powers of the Sols with the Master Sword, it takes only one hit to defeat the masks. Unlike his sword, arrows shot at a Zant Mask will ricochet off their metal body, making arrows ineffective against them. If not immediately defeated, the mask will disappear and reappear in a different location from a short distance as they are immobile.[7][8][9]
