Young Link is the younger version of Link from Ocarina of Time and often appears as a playable character in non-canon games.
Appearances
Super Smash Bros. Melee
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Young Link appears as a playable fighter. He is very similar to Link, with only minor differences such as using Fire Arrows instead of regular arrows. There are also three trophies based on him.
Hyrule Warriors
Young Link is a playable warrior in Hyrule Warriors. His abilities and appearance are based on Majora's Mask. In the Wii U game, he is unlocked as part of the Majora's Mask Pack DLC. In Hyrule Warriors Legends and the Definitive Edition, he is unlocked on Adventure Map G-9.
In Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U, Young Link drops the same materials as Link, which are Link's Boots as a silver material and Link's Scarf as a good. In Legends and the Definitive Edition, he drops Young Link's Belt as a silver material and the Keaton Mask as a gold.
