Withered Deku Babas are a weaker version of the Deku Baba that have appeared in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Deku Baba
Though it looks withered, it will
hurt you if you touch it!

Withered Deku Babas are the first enemy Link encounters in this game. They won't damage him unless he walks into them. They are incredibly weak and a simple sword slash will kill them. When defeated, they usually drop a Deku Stick. They can be found in Kokiri Forest and Inside the Deku Tree.

Isn't that a Deku Baba?
But it looks a little withered...
Just cut it. You should at least
get a Deku Stick out of it.

Withered Deku Babas in Majora's Mask appear in an identical fashion as they did within Ocarina of Time. They can be found in Termina Field, Southern Swamp, and Woodfall Temple. Again, they can be easily defeated with pretty much any weapon.
