Toward the beginning of time, the War of Spirits was fought between the Demon King Malladus and the Spirits of Good. After what seemed like an eternity, the Spirits of Good managed to seal Malladus underground using shackles and a tower that acted as a lock, which became known as the Spirit Tracks and the Tower of Spirits, respectively.
