Linking

Hey TSter The Great,

I noticed on the Stalfos page you were trying to link to some of our content pages. On wikis, we don't actually use the entire url, rather, we cut out most of it and only link to the page title. For instance, if I want to link to Majora's Mask I would do:

[[The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Majora's_Mask|Majora's Mask]]

The first half is the page title, and the second half is the text that will appear to the user. This method applies to all content on the wiki, and we'd much appreciate it if you'd implement this as well.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or another admin. Thanks! ~Josh (Talk) 20:40, October 22, 2011 (CDT)

Feedback

I appreciate the information you have contributed to the Wiki, but I would like to give you some feedback and suggestions in how to arrange the information. I am mainly reffering to what you contributed to the Story section of the Twilight Princess page, but I see that some other contributions you made also applies for what I will be writing about.

What I note is that you tend to add information as individual single-statement sentences in one big pharagraph. This is not the optimal way of presenting information, as readers are faced with a big block of text that's difficult to read due to the lack of flow between the sentences.

What I will suggest is that you try to divide the information into several pharagraphs, where you use several sentences to connect the statements you make. You may also try to extend uppon the statements by using bi-sentences. Write what you would have said if you were to explain the information to an actual person.

And a final hint for writing good articles, always read through the whole section after you have made a contribution to it. Then you can see where and how to make improvements if the flow in the text is not right. If you still have problems seeing what I am trying to express, then I will suggest that you read some good books.Person 17:36, October 25, 2011 (CDT)
