We're glad that you signed up so that you can edit, build, and shape the Zelda Dungeon Wiki! Before you start editing, why don't you check out some of these useful links and read these basic rules?
- Edit your settings. Make sure you have set up your settings to make the wiki work the way you want it. We have a bunch of customizations that we have spent time creating, and we hope that you utilize them to the fullest.
- Please treat all members with respect. We don't want to have to ban someone because there is an issue between our users.
- Use wikicode and link templates when making edits to properly format pages. Use templates often to save on coding everything.
- If you have some questions, instead of sitting around doing nothing, ask our administration team. They won't bite.
- Head to our help page to find some links to helpful pages that will teach you how to do many things on the wiki.
- Read the FAQ to find the answers to a few common questions.
- Please use proper grammar and strive for good edits.
- Always sign talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically sign the page with your username and date.
- Use talk pages to talk about edits on pages. Do not participate in editing wars (i.e. editing a page over and over again to make the page what you think it should be rather than what another member thinks) as they are counter productive and will not solve the problem. Use the talk pages like they were meant to be used.
We hope that you enjoy your time here on the Zelda Dungeon Wiki and that you will help us make lots of really good edits. Keep in mind that the administration team will be watching for quality editors to bring them on to our site staff.

Small Tip
Hey there, Satam! How are things? I've noticed your edits recently, and while they're of great quality, there's a little something that caught my eye. Links such as [[Prince Ralis|Prince Ralis]] are a bit redundant. You'd only need to use the "|" to give the item you're linking a different name. For example, instead of just using [[Princes Ralis|Prince Ralis]], you'd use something such as [[Prince Ralis|small Zora boy]]. See what I mean? In addition to that, I also recommend you'd use Infoboxes to your advantage. You can find all sorts of Infoboxes by clicking here. Atticus 21:54, October 3, 2012 (CDT)

Hey there once again, Satam! I hope you're doing well. I'd like to ask you if you had a Skype account. Skype is one of the major ways we communicate, it's beyond useful to us. Deleting pictures
Hey ! I uploaded .png's for the Isle of Rebirth page but I need to rename some and also to delete some I shouldn't have uploaded. I don't find any way to do it. Can you please help me ? See you !

Hi! Only admins can delete pages and files, so you can only upload new files that replace the ones you want to delete. You can re-name files in the 'Move' link in the arrow to the left of the search bar. Satam (talk) 06:18, March 8, 2016 (UTC)

I forgot, you need to be an autoconfirmed user to move pages. Autoconfirmed users are users whose accounts have existed for at least two weeks and have made at least fifty edits. Satam (talk) 12:08, March 8, 2016 (UTC)

- Autoconfirmed users can't move files, only normal articles. If there's a file you want moved or deleted, make a talk page for it. If you want an image renamed, make sure to say exactly what it should be renamed to. I'll get around to it. — Emma (Talk) 06:52, March 10, 2016 (UTC)

Contractions
While it's not the biggest deal, I've noticed you've removed contractions from the BotW sidequest pages, as well as changed 'questgiver' and 'sidequest' to have spaces. You also changed all instances of pm to p.m. even when they were at the end of a sentence (which they all were) which resulted in p.m..
Why did you do this? It feels like you just ran some kind of script. It also changes the tone of the writing and makes it more formal. These changes aren't exactly 'wrong' so I didn't revert them, except for the pm thing. But it feels like you arbitrarily changed the tone of BotW's entire sidequest section just because you saw a button you could push to run a script and so you ran it. Please tell me I'm wrong, lol.
