The Twilight Realm is a dimension stuck in suspended Twilight. It is composed of darkness, but does have light. The only appearance in the series is in Twilight Princess, where the Twilight Realm is taking over Hyrule under the control of Zant. Midna is also from the Twilight Realm. Inside the Twilight Realm, without the Twilight Shard, Link is stuck in his Wolf form.
