The Twili is a race seen exclusively in Twilight Princess. They live in the Twilight Realm, and are descended from some of the worst criminals in Hyrule's history, who were banished by being sent through the Mirror of Twilight. They appear as humanoids, wearing wraps around most of their body, with the exception of their face. They have circular, amber-coloured eyes, without pupils. Interestingly, some Twili are very tall and thin, while others are short and rotund. Power struggles in their society culminated with the events of Twilight Princess, as Midna, the Twilight Princess, was overthrown by Zant, a Twili implied to be a member of their royal family. Zant made the Twili appear as Shadow Beast which can be attacked but if Link walks by them with the light Soles they will show how they really look.
