"Wooden branches such as this are pretty common, but it's surprisingly well-balanced. It doesn't do much damage, but can serve as a weapon in a pinch."

— In-Game Description[1]

The Tree Branch is a type of weapon found in Breath of the Wild.

They can be found lying on the ground across the Great Plateau, and later, across all of Hyrule itself. Link can use these Branches to attack enemies; conversely, they can also be used be enemies to attack Link. However, a tree branch is one of the weakest weapons in the game; they do very little damage, with a base power of 2, and break easily owing to their base durability of 4.

While they will burn up quickly, they can be used as a makeshift torch while aflame to light campfires or burn other nearby objects.
