A Trading Sequence is a type of side-quest that has appeared in five Zelda games to date. It usually invovles lots of items, time limits, and mini-games that in the end will usually reward Link with a prize.

As stated above, the Trading Sequence has appeared in five games, starting with Link's Awakening.

Link's Awakening

The Link's Awakening Trading Seqeunce involves 14 items and was the first one ever to be in a Zelda game. The reward for this Trading Sequence was shared with the Magnifying Lens and the Boomerang.

Yoshi Doll

The Yoshi Doll was the first item in the Trading Sequence. It can be found in Mabe Village in the Trendy Game Shop. It is not moving at all, making it very simple to collect. It can be collected as soon as Link has collected enough Rupees to play the game, which is 10 Rupees.

Ribbon

The second item in the Trading Sequence is the Ribbon. It can also be found in Mabe Village, so again can be gotten very early on in the game. It can be traded for the Yoshi Doll with Paphal's Wife.
