The Tough Beetle is the third and last upgrade of the Beetle that can be acquired in the Scrap Shop in the Bazaar for 50 Rupees and a few collectible treasures.

The Tough Beetle is an upgraded form of the Quick Beetle. The Tough Beetle upgrade enhances both the Beetle's flight time, increased to 40 seconds, and speed, allowing the player to hold the A button to greatly increase the Beetle's speed mid-flight.
