The Tough Beetle is an upgraded form of the Quick Beetle, and can be acquired via the Scrap Shop in the Bazaar for 50 Rupees and a few collectible treasures. The Tough Beetle upgrade enhances both the Beetle's flight time, increased to 40 seconds, and speed, allowing Link to hold the A button to greatly increase the Beetle's speed mid-flight.
