Toshihiro Kawabata was an employee of Nintendo, who started in the early 2000's. He first worked on Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin for the Nintendo GameCube before then joining the team on The Wind Waker. He is credited as being an Assistant Director. This is the only credit of his in the Zelda series, but he would go on to work on games in the Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong, and Super Mario franchises.
