Travel between past and future

Time Portals are special Warp points in Oracle of Ages and Cadence of Hyrule.

Oracle of Ages

Time Portals are Warp points found in Labrynna, which allow Time Travel in Oracle of Ages.

Once Link obtains the Harp of Ages, he is able to open these portals, which allow him to travel back and forth between the past and present.

Cadence of Hyrule

In Cadence of Hyrule, there are only five Time Portals (two pairs and a single portal), two of which are only available in files created after purchasing Symphony of the Mask. The first can be accessed after defeating Octavo, which takes the heroes to a Crypt of the NecroDancer-style dungeon in the Future World. A portal in the room the player arrives in will take them back to outside Hyrule Castle, where another Time Portal has appeared.

Another pair of portals can be accessed sooner than the rest, but only in files created after downloading the Symphony of the Mask downloadable content. In the Cadence cave on the first screen of the Lost Woods, the player can dig the wall behind Cadence to find a Time Portal to Skull Kid's house in the Deku Village, where another Time Portal will take the player back to the Lost Woods. Note that these portals will not appear in Symphony of the Mask mode or Single-Character Mode. In Octavo's Ode, these portals will appear, but Skull Kid will not appear, and all masks are replaced with Diamonds.

A Time Portal also steals the Golden Lute from Octavo, but it closes immediately afterwards.
