Thunderbird is the second to last Boss in The Adventure of Link. It is found in the Great Palace.
Boss Strategy
Thunderbird is arguably the hardest boss in the game. No matter what, Link must use the Thunder Spell (it is also recommended, but not required, that he use the Jump and Shield spells) to make Thunderbird vulnerable to attack and the Reflect Spell to block some of the fireballs spewing from the monster's mouth. Once it is vulnerable, the only way to attack it is to jump and slash at its head. Once it is defeated, Link receives 1,000 experience points and the key to the chamber of the Triforce of Courage.
