Unless Link has obtained all four Magic Containers, the Wise Man will not give the Thunder Spell to him. The Thunder Spell uses a lot of magic. Link finds the Wise Man in Old Kasuto and talks to him there. The Wise Man will deliver the Thunder Spell unto the young Hylian, which destroys all of the enemies on the screen. It is also needed to defeat Thunderbird in the Great Palace.
