The Thunder Helm is a Key Item in Breath of the Wild. In order to gain the trust of Riju, Link is required to recover this item from the Yiga Clan Hideout in the Karusa Valley. After the helm is returned to Riju, the sight of her wearing it will restore one of Link's memories. The helm is then used to gain access to Vah Naboris. After defeating Vah Naboris if you examine the helm, Ruji will give Link a quest to help all the inhabitants of Gurudo Town if he wants to lend it. It gives link the Lightning Proof trait if worn.
