The South Lomei Prophecy is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview
When Link activates the dragon ring at the center of the Surface level South Lomei Labyrinth a mysterious voice will send him up to the Sky level of the maze. Link will traverse that maze, activating four dragon ring terminals. This will open a fifth terminal on the top of the labyrinth. Activating this terminal will open the way to skydive all the way down to the Depths. There, Link will face a Flux Construct III to unlock one final ring terminal and receive the Evil Spirit Mask.
Requirements
Unlock the paraglider from activating the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. Having Stamina Wheel upgrades will make traversing the Sky level labyrinth significantly easier.
Walkthrough
- Surface
- Arrive at the North entrance to the South Lomei Labyrinth.
- The maze has already been solved for you. Follow the trail of nuts and acorns to the center. Use the Sensor or Fuse if you need help finding the next piece in the trail.
- The maze ends in a room containing Motsusis Shrine, a grate covering the South Lomei Chasm, and a dragon ring.
- Activate the dragon ring, which will start the quest and direct you to go to the South Lomei Castle Top Floor, the Sky version of the maze.
- Sky
- Getting to the sky part of the labyrinth will require some kind of Zonai flying device. You can warp to Rakashog Shrine or launch from Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and land on one of the small islands and launch your aircraft from there.
- Activate Siyamotsus Shrine at the entry to the maze and then hit the dragon ring to get the locations of the next four terminals on your map.
- The maze has a continuous updraft. Glide around activating the terminals, and keep an eye on your stamina bar. Rest on the pieces of ground when you need to, which are marked in a grey shade on the map.
- Activating the four terminals will create a fifth terminal on the top of the maze. Ride an updraft up and run over and activate it. This will clear the way down into the depths.
- Depths
- Dive from the ledge on the Sky labyrinth all the way down into the Depths. You will be able to see the orange-red light from the Flux Construct at the bottom to know when to open the paraglider.
- (Optional) Exit the building to activate Sisustom Lightroot for better visibility.
- Defeat the Flux Construct III. Using fused Arrows to take out the control cube is a good strategy, and the ceiling of the room is low enough that you can Ascend on top of it if it goes into the floating plane phase.
- Activate the final ring and receive the Evil Spirit Mask.
