Two different people?

The lead section claims that the fisherman in Mabe Village and the fisherman in Martha's Bay are two separate characters. However, they both have the same title, and they look identical according to images shown on the page. Is there a source that says they are in fact different people? It could just be that it's the same guy and he switches locations depending on where Link is. Especially considering the, uh...true nature of the island, that'd certainly be a plausible explanation.

Then again, they could be different people who use the same design for ease of programming and such. And I don't believe the fisherman under the bridge hints at having encountered Link in the village before, so that could be seen as evidence in favor of them not being the same. The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia (p233) lists them as two separate characters. - Sanityormadness (talk) 22:42, November 3, 2021 (UTC)
Came back here to bring up that in the Switch version, Grandpa Ulrira says that the two fishermen are the same person. If you call him on the phone at a given point, he mentions that the fisherman doesn’t just fish in Mabe Village and that he can also be found in Martha’s Bay. So, genuine question: does an in-game source like this trump whatever the encyclopedia says, or vice versa? Tippetarius (talk) 01:43, November 19, 2023 (UTC)

When the photographer shows up

the photographer didn't appear for me until after i had returned the mermaid's necklace, the current description of "after returning the fishing hook" doesn't seem fully accurate

We get the descriptions directly from the name of the photo in-game. We did not come up with it. TheDoctor8910 (talk) 22:00, January 28, 2022 (UTC)
