The Swordsman's Scroll is an item obtained in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. In both games, it teaches Link sword techniques.

Phantom Hourglass

Link earns this after completing the game's Trading Sequence. It is given to him by the Old Wayfarer on Bannan Island. It teaches Link the Great Spin Attack.

There are two Swordsman's Scrolls in Spirit Tracks:

The first is found at Rabbitland Rescue, where Bunnio gives it to him after recovering all 50 rabbits. It lets Link shoot beams from his sword.
Link receives the second scroll from Niko after collecting all twenty stamps in his Stamp Book. Like the scroll in Phantom Hourglass, it lets him utilize the Great Spin Attack.
