Stone Slab Fragment

Stone Slab Fragments are a dungeon item in Link's Awakening. They are found inside chests and allow Link to read the Stone Slabs located in the dungeon. An item similar to this is the Stone Beak, which takes the Stone Slab Fragment's place in the DX version of the game. Instead of placing it on a Stone Slab, you must place the Stone Beak on a Owl Statue; however, both the Stone Slab and the Owl Statue give Link a hint to help him in the dungeon.
