Treasures is a type of item found in Spirit Tracks. In Spirit Tracks, their primary use is to be exchanged with Linebeck III for Train Parts.

Acquiring Treasure

Treasure pieces that Link will find along his quest are quite easy to come by. Listed below are several ways Link can acquire a treasure.

1) Purchase treasure from Beedle's Air Shop or from various village shops.
2) Common treasure can be found under pots or by blowing leaves in some villages.
3) Some of the various mini-games will award treasure for getting high scores.
4) Find them in various treasure chests all throughout the overworld and within temples.
5) Put Prize Postcards in the mailbox and win treasure depending on which place Link gets.
6) Trade treasure with others locally via Nintendo Wi-Fi.

Trading Treasure

Spirit Tracks allows players to use local Nintendo DS Wi-Fi capability to trade ship parts and treasure with friends nearby. This is similar to the trading process of the Phantom Hourglass Treasures style.

Within Tag Mode, each player who has a Nintendo DS and a copy of Spirit Tracks can locally trade valuable Treasure using DS Download Play. Select the treasure piece you want to trade and toss it in one of the boxes available, which will send it off to your friend for a treasure in return!

Selling Treasure

The treasures that are listed below are divided into the various types of treasure pieces, starting with the most common and ending with the rarest. Rarity of treasure pieces directly corresponds with their selling price. In order to sell treasure, take them to Linebeck III at the Trading Post in the Forest Realm. Treasure can also be traded in for train parts.

Getting Treasure

Treasure can be divided into four different categories based on the rarity of the treasure. Each treasure within a category has the exact same rupee value. The four categories are Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Super Rare treasure. When opening a treasure chest that contains a treasure, it isn't set in stone as to which treasure is in the actual treasure chest. Rather, the treasure is grouped by what type of category it is. A particular overworld treasure may contain a rare treasure, but all this means is that the treasure will be either a Palace Dish, Goron Amber, Mystic Jade, or an Ancient Gold Piece. However, the super rare treasure have some fixed locations and they are listed below.

Uncommon Treasure

1. Each and every day, Beedle has a different uncommon treasure piece for sale at a starting price of 300 rupees.
2. Each day the shop at Castle Town has two uncommon treasures available for sale at a price of 300 rupees.
3. Each day the shop at the Snow Sanctuary has an uncommon treasure available for sale at a price of 300 rupees.
4. Play the Goron Target Game and score between 1500 and 2000 points. Select the small treasure to get an uncommon treasure.
5. After getting the bomb upgrade at the Whip Race in Whittleton Village, play the game again and score a time between 1:15 and 1:30. Link will be rewarded with an uncommon treasure piece each time.
6. After getting the Quiver upgrade at the Pirate Hideout, play the game again and score between 3,000 and 4,000 points to get an uncommon treasure.
7. After defeating Stagnox in the Take 'Em All On challenge Level 1, Link will be rewarded with an uncommon treasure.
8. After defeating Skeldritch in the Take 'Em All On challenge Level 3, Link will be rewarded with an uncommon treasure.

Name Sells For (Rupees) Description
Demon Fossil 50 Fossil of an ancient demon. Sounds rare, but it turns up all over the place.
Stalfos Skull 50 This artifact's eerie aura makes it the ultimate collector's item.
Star Fragment 50 A sparkly stone that fell from the sky. It's said to be a piece of a star.
Bee Larvae 50 Readily found in beehives. These energizing larvae sell for quite a bit.
Wood Heart 50 Whether this acorn is a treasure is debatable, but it does have its fans.

Common Treasure

1. Each day the shop at Whittleton Village has two Common Treasures available for sale at a price of 100 rupees.
2. After getting the Quiver upgrade at the Pirate Hideout, play the game again and score between 2,000 and 3,000 points to get a rare treasure.
3. After getting the Whirlwind, head to the northeast part of Whittleton Village. There are plenty of leaves on the ground that can be blow by using the whirlwind. Blow these leaves to reveal several common treasures. Afterwards walk northward to northern part of Whittleton Village where Link will find another bunch of leaves to blow. After blowing them and collecting more common treasure, head back south to the main part of the village and the leaves and treasure will be reset. This tactic can be repeated to collect a seemingly unlimited amount of treasure. Demon Fossils will not appear often in this area.
4. Demon Fossils are found often underneath pots, specifically inside of caves. One cave just north of the Goron Elder on the way to the Fire Sanctuary is a good place to find them. Break the pots that are near the northwest part of the cave in hopes for treasure. Then head northward out of the cave and north until the map changes. Link can then turn around and head back to the cave and the treasure will reset.

Rare Treasure

1. Each and every day, Beedle has a different rare treasure piece for sale at a starting price of 1000 rupees.
2. After getting the Heart Container at the Whip Race in Whittleton Village, play the game again and score a time less than 1:15. Link will get rewarded with a rare treasure piece.
3. Play the Goron Target Game and score over 2000 points. Select the small treasure to get a rare treasure.
4. After getting the Quiver upgrade at the Pirate Hideout, play the game again and score over 4,000 points to get a rare treasure.
5. After bringing some Dark Ore to Linebeck III a first time and earning a Force Gem, bring at least five more units to Linebeck and he'll give Link a rare treasure.
6. After defeating Phytops in the Take 'Em All On challenge Level 2, Link will be rewarded with a rare treasure.
7. After defeating Dark Link in the Take 'Em All On challenge Level 3, Link will be rewarded with a rare treasure.
