Speedrun is a term used for various games including The Legend of Zelda series. A speedrun is simply a timed attempt under a specific set of rules. The most common types of Rulesets are beating the game without any restrictions known as Any%, and beating the game with all possible objectives known as 100%. These rulesets can be made up by anyone from the individual players to larger communities responsible for governing the ruleset for their speedrun Leaderboards. Member of these communities are referred to as "speedrunners."
